Healing The Spirit Productions creates a supportive community through cultural programming. From events to ceremonies of healing, we instill a new health philosophy that infuses western medicine to traditional and holistic cultural practices. We help Indigenous communities learn about different health initiatives, allowing for healthy communities to flourish.

  • Orrenzo Snyder, MD

    PRESIDENT & CEO

    Dr. Snyder (he/him) is a board-certified urologic surgeon who is Diné (Navajo) originally from southeastern Utah. He balances his life passions and professional career in both the states of Nevada and Oklahoma.

    In Nevada, he works to create Indigenous cultural programming and Indigenous Leadership through cultural and health care consulting. He is actively involved in cultural consulting and programming with the Indian National Finals Rodeo through Healing the Spirit Productions.

    In Oklahoma, Dr. Snyder works for Comanche County Memorial Hospital bringing over 30 years of urological health care experience to the community. Dr. Snyder is board certified through the American Board of Urology. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Utah. He then received his Medical Degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his Urologic Surgery Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

    Dr. Snyder believes in lifelong learning; he is credentialed with CME as a member of the American Urological Association, and former member of the American Medical Association.

    Orrenzo is the husband of Shirl Snyder and father to five uniquely brilliant Indigenous peoples. Family and cultural values are important to his daily being. He practices cultural traditions and enjoys traveling and dancing at Native American Powwows. Some of his hobbies include golfing, disc golfing, fishing, hunting and rooting for his favorite hockey team - the Vegas Golden Knights. GO KNIGHTS GO!

  • Orriena Snyder

    CO—EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & TREASURER

    Orriena (she/her) has a Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Political Science with an emphasis in Indian Affairs Administration and another Bachelors degree in Native American Studies from the University of Oklahoma.

    She has experience as the Deputy Director of Tribal Outreach for Nevada Democratic Victory where she worked with State officials bridging the gap for Tribal Communities increasing the Native Vote in the State.

    In her free time she is an artist who has been creating beadwork and powwow regalia for over 10 years. She is also a Northern Traditional Cloth dancer where she travels all over the world and participates in competition dancing.

  • Shaina Snyder

    Freelance Marketer | Dancer & Artist | Cultural Advocate | Indigenous Entrepreneur & Organizer | VIP Expo

    Shaina has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Business Management with a minor in American Indian Studies from Utah Valley University. She has experience with cultural advising, program/event planning & has held many leadership positions.

    She drives success through the balance of cultural and contemporary awareness; understanding her identity & navigating ways to walk in both worlds. Shaina values her heritage, culture, education and experiences. She is a Jingle Dress Dancer who is passionate about her culture and actively participates in traditional practices.

    She aims to help Native American businesses and communities through marketing, business management and ultimately economic development; providing sustainability and allowing for both cultural growth & preservation.
